The innovative "Vess Balance Ring" (VBR) is used to simultaneously balance any prop (with any number of blades) and spinner combination on a good prop balancer. The intuitive balancing process involves no messy sanding, glues, or spray lacquer and produces very smooth powerplant operation, even at idle! Reduced vibration means lower airframe fatigue, improved equipment longevity, and lower noise.
This version of the "VBR" fits the DA150/200, 3W110/120/150/157/170, BME150 and other engines with six 5mm prop bolts on a 34mm diameter. It includes 8 balancing set screws and an Allen wrench.
